Top ranked in the nation for orthopedics and rheumatology by U.S.News and World Report (2010-2011), Hospital for Special Surgery provides leadership and expertise in musculoskeletal care which benefits patients, physicians, and researchers across the world. 

Patients travel across oceans and continents to HSS for treatment; international fellows train here and return to their home countries with new skills and ideas; and our researchers collaborate with their peers from other global institutions searching for the answers to address musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases. Finally, we participate in knowledge transfer and global partnership efforts to share our experience with individuals and institutions abroad.
