Saffold Undergoes Surgery

St. Louis Post - Dispatch—November 21, 2011   

Rams left tackle Rodger Saffold underwent surgery Monday to repair a torn pectoral muscle. Dr. Frank Cordasco of Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City repaired the tear, and surgery went well according to league sources.

The recovery time for Saffold is expected to be four to five months.

Saffold suffered the injury lifting weights Friday at Rams Park.
